UNITED NATIONS GENERAL ASSEMBLy- DISARMAMENT AND INTERNATIONAL SECURITY COMMITTEE
The DISEC deals with disarmament, global security challenges and threats to peace that affect the international community as a whole and seeks out solutions for the same on the grounds of general principles of cooperation in the maintenance of international peace and security, as well as principles governing regulation of armaments and disarmament, promotion of cooperative arrangements and measures aimed at strengthening stability through grassroots levels of armaments.
